brooklake high ,
the first word in this large, foreign stereotypical boarding school, is probably excuse me. the odd thing you'll receive, is absolutely nothing. at this school, you have to work, and work to be recognized, and the sad thing is, even after you work hard enough to kill yourself, you have to be of the right clique to be accepted into the school, or even by a person or two. you can't walk in all high and mighty without being able to back yourself up, and hold your own weight until the leader from every clique can get together and decided just who and what you are, while you sit, tormented in the middle to see just what you can take. you have to take the poking and prodding questions like a man, even if you're a girl. they measure your physical endurance, your mental endurance, and just look at the way you tend to dress. your first two weeks are probably the worst ten days of your school life.
as well as the fact that you have cliques, you have a group within our cliques. our very own dead roses. now the name doesn't sound as powerful as they actually are. these student, among many, feel mistreated and used, and they're finally trying to put an end to it, or try to at least. a list has been made and one has disappeared out of the dead of night. she hadn't seen it, nobody had. her body showed up a few months later, the head cheerleader was beaten, and bruised, then left to starve until she died, and the kids knew exactly how to act and cover themselves up. that was the start of it all, and the crimes proceed to thunder through out the school, a person disappearing out of the blue every few weeks, showing up months and months later. the school has tried to put a stop to the deaths and kidnappings, but as far as succeeding goes, they definitely don't win.
but aside from themajorminor details, this school is like any other on the outside, except for the fact that it's in such a large neighborhood, filled by odd people that by now, the school looks normal. the kids inside the large, student painted walls are able to put on the happy smile and look around like this is the best times of their lives, but inside half of them are dying because the other half purposely tear them down and beat them without laying a finger on them. things are done in secret here, and the freshmen cringe, especially on those freshman prank days that always end up injuring someone, but it's an on campus tradition that every single sophomore, junior, and senior participate in, and every freshman dreads. buckle your shoes, pull your jacket tight, and suck it up.
