A soft little song filled the room with its melody. Each note was light and separated giving it a happy and cheerful feel. No words were heard, only the notes. Henrietta had long forgotten the words, and only the melody was remembered. Still, she loved the song even though it wasn't complete.
Her heels clicked together in time with the fast paced song. A book was set on the ground and occasionally her hand would turn the textbook. It was about a foot thick and a foot and a half long. To most people reading the book the small black print would just merge together into a confusion but, to Henrietta each word was separated just like the notes of the song. She was already on the chapter about China. Although all the information was repetitive in the objective she still got excited when she met a new fact that she didn't know before.
A small smile was on the girl's lips but in reality she was very lonely. There were some children in the room, but not many for it was beautiful day outside. She had no one to talk to so she tried to fill the void by reading, which failed miserably. She still longed for someone to talk too. Although she didn't believe that would happen anytime soon. Finally, after many chapters, she slammed the book shut and was fuming with anger. The book wasn't as accurate as she had hoped. So, she stood up and put it back where she found it on the many shelves to the room. She then returned to her seat fuming from her disappointment in the book. To keep up with her loneliness she took out a CD player and put the headphones into her ears, listening to her favorite rock group. Although if anyone asked her, it was some classical crap that she didn't enjoy nearly as much as them.
